On this tour we offer a flexible choice of Christmas Markets.
1. Maastricht Christmas Market Winter Wonderland
At Christmas, a Winter Wonderland takes place in Maastricht’s Vrijthof Square. In the centre of the Square is the wonderland attraction with a skating rink, a palace of mirrors a giant Ferris wheel and a unique Venetian grand carousel.
2. Valkenburg Velvet Caves
Each year, a new, romantic fairy-tale theme is created for the Chistmas Market in the Velvet Cave. In keeping with the theme, the atmosphere of the cave is absolutely unique, with its exquisite Christmas lighting, quality gifts for sale, stalls that demonstrate Dutch trade and hand craft, live musical entertainment and an underground 'catering garden'.
3. Monschau
With its historic old town and unique location, Monschau becomes a fairyland as its market takes over the whole town, with wooden chalets embellished with twinkling lights around the market squre.
4. Aachen
This lively market is nestled between the magnificent Cathedral and the impressive Town Hall in this historic, Roman Spa town.
