In the heart of the historic Old Town at Barfüsserplatz, this stunning Christmas market has no less than 150 stands and wood huts, selling everything from hats, minerals and fossils, Christmas tree ornaments from every conceivable place, linen, pewter, glass glitter balls, wooden figures,folk art from the Erzgebirge in Germany, pottery, mirror prisms,spices, wooden toys, children’s clothes, to scented woods.

During the pre-Christmas period, numerous churches and concert venues present an excellent choice of festive music and shows.
