Eden Project

Encounter over 1,000 diffferent varieties of fantastic flora and fauna, including the biggest seed in the world, and a plant that can grow up to a metre a day.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan
Since it opened, visitors have flocked to Heligan, and by 1995 it became the most visited private garden in Britain with over 200,000 visitors.
It is no wonder it is so popular, as this is no ordinary garden. Some of the highlights include:
- Four walled gardens providing over 300 varieties of fruit and vegetables.
- The Bee-boles—a large wall with 15 vaulted chambers.
- The Pleasure Grounds, which include the Northern Summerhouse with its sea views, the Italian Garden, the Fern Ravine, the Wishing Well, and the Crystal grotto.
- The Ornamental garden paths, where two and a half miles of foot paths were discovered.
